Energy, Vibration, and Frequency: Understanding Them Through the Divine Algorithm

Overview

Few topics generate more curiosity—and more confusion—than energy, vibration, and frequency.

Some people dismiss these words entirely.

Others use them to explain nearly everything.

I’ve found that the truth usually lives somewhere between those extremes.

These ideas have become incredibly popular in modern spiritual conversations, but they’re often used without clear definitions. That can make meaningful discussion difficult.

I’ve come to believe that energy, vibration, and frequency become most valuable when they help us describe our lived experience instead of replacing careful thinking.

This understanding became one of the reasons I introduced The Divine Algorithm in 2024. It isn’t built on mystical language alone. It’s a practical framework for understanding how our thoughts, emotions, habits, biology, relationships, and awareness interact to shape the life we experience. Terms like energy, vibration, and frequency can be useful when they help us better understand that process rather than oversimplify it.

Everything in the Physical Universe Involves Energy

One thing science makes clear is that energy is fundamental to the physical universe.

Our bodies require energy to function.

Our brains operate through electrochemical activity.

Our hearts generate measurable electrical signals.

Light carries energy.

Heat carries energy.

Sound travels as waves.

Life itself depends upon countless energetic processes occurring every second.

Recognizing this doesn’t automatically validate every spiritual claim made about energy.

But it does remind us that the universe is far more dynamic than it may first appear.

Why These Words Resonate

When people say,

“The energy in the room changed,”

they usually aren’t talking about physics.

They’re describing experience.

Perhaps tension suddenly filled the room.

Perhaps everyone relaxed after hearing good news.

Perhaps someone walked in with extraordinary kindness that changed the atmosphere.

We instinctively recognize that human presence influences other people.

Our attitudes matter.

Our emotions affect conversations.

Our calm can help settle another person’s anxiety.

Our anger can spread just as quickly.

Whether we describe that as emotional influence, interpersonal dynamics, or simply “energy,” the experience itself is familiar to nearly everyone.

The Divine Algorithm Is About Alignment

One of the central ideas behind the Divine Algorithm is that alignment changes how we experience life.

When our thoughts, actions, values, and purpose begin working together, many people experience greater clarity.

Greater peace.

Greater integrity.

Greater resilience.

When those parts of our lives remain in constant conflict, we often experience confusion, anxiety, and inner tension.

Some people describe this shift as changing their vibration.

Others simply describe it as becoming healthier, more present, or more authentic.

The language may differ.

The lived experience is often remarkably similar.

Your Nervous System Influences Your Experience

Modern neuroscience has shown that our nervous system plays a profound role in how we perceive the world.

When we’re chronically stressed, we often become more reactive.

More fearful.

More defensive.

When we feel safe and regulated, many people notice greater creativity, compassion, patience, and clarity.

That doesn’t mean reality changed.

Our ability to experience it did.

I’ve found this connection fascinating because it reminds us that spiritual growth isn’t disconnected from our biology.

The two continually influence one another.

Beware of Magical Thinking

One reason I believe discernment is so important is because it’s easy to oversimplify these ideas.

Not every challenge happens because your “frequency is low.”

Not every success happens because your “vibration is high.”

Life is more complex than that.

Health, relationships, opportunity, culture, biology, and countless other factors all influence human experience.

Simple explanations can feel satisfying.

Reality is usually richer.

The goal isn’t finding a slogan that explains everything.

The goal is growing in wisdom.

What Raises the Quality of Your Life?

Instead of asking only,

“How do I raise my vibration?”

I’ve found it more helpful to ask,

“What consistently helps me become more loving, peaceful, honest, and fully present?”

For many people, the answers include:

Time in nature.

Meaningful relationships.

Prayer.

Meditation.

Gratitude.

Movement.

Healthy sleep.

Purposeful work.

Forgiveness.

Service.

These practices don’t merely change how we feel.

They gradually shape who we become.

That transformation is far more important than chasing a particular emotional state.

Frequency as a Way of Living

If we use the word frequency metaphorically, it becomes an interesting question.

What do you consistently broadcast into the lives of others?

Fear?

Hope?

Gratitude?

Resentment?

Kindness?

Patience?

Every conversation carries something.

Every interaction leaves an impression.

In that sense, the “frequency” of your life isn’t measured by a device.

It’s reflected in your character.

People often remember how you consistently made them feel long after they’ve forgotten your exact words.

The Highest Expression Is Love

Across history, nearly every enduring spiritual tradition has arrived at a remarkably similar conclusion.

Love transforms.

Compassion heals.

Forgiveness frees.

Humility strengthens.

Generosity multiplies.

Whether someone describes these qualities spiritually, psychologically, or philosophically, they consistently improve both individual lives and healthy communities.

Perhaps that’s the highest “frequency” we can cultivate.

Not because it’s a mystical achievement.

Because it’s the way of living that most consistently brings life to ourselves and those around us.

Live the Reality, Not the Vocabulary

I’ve met people who can speak beautifully about vibration and consciousness while treating others poorly.

I’ve also met people who’ve never used those words at all but quietly radiate kindness, integrity, humility, and peace.

That taught me something important.

The words matter far less than the life.

The purpose of spiritual understanding isn’t mastering new terminology.

It’s becoming a person whose presence leaves the world better than you found it.

That’s the kind of transformation worth pursuing.

Final Thoughts

I don’t believe energy, vibration, and frequency should become subjects of endless debate.

I believe they become most meaningful when they point us toward a wiser way of living.

The Divine Algorithm isn’t about chasing mystical experiences or adopting fashionable language.

It’s about aligning your life so completely with truth, awareness, love, and integrity that your outer life increasingly reflects your inner reality.

Spend time in nature.

Care for your body.

Calm your nervous system.

Practice gratitude.

Forgive quickly.

Love deeply.

Serve generously.

Remain curious.

Live honestly.

Whether you describe that as raising your vibration, cultivating inner alignment, or simply becoming a healthier human being doesn’t matter nearly as much as the life those practices create.

Because in the end, the greatest measure of your spiritual life isn’t the language you use.

It’s the person you become.

And perhaps that’s what the Divine Algorithm has been pointing toward all along—not a secret formula, but a way of living where wisdom becomes visible through love, character, and the quiet consistency of a life fully aligned with what is true.

If these ideas resonate with you, I explore them more deeply in The Other 95%, The Heart Compass, the Divine Algorithm Framework, and through the work of The Way Within Church. My hope is to help people bridge science, spirituality, and everyday life in a way that encourages thoughtful inquiry, personal responsibility, and lasting transformation rooted in truth rather than trends.
