Michel Scavuzzo's The Divine Algorithm and Jesus: The Living Word Beyond Religion

Jesus didn't come to create another religion.

He came to awaken people.

That statement may challenge some readers, but I encourage you to hear me out before deciding whether you agree.

When I study the words of Jesus, I don't see someone inviting people into an institution. I see someone inviting people into transformation.

He spoke about becoming.

He spoke about seeing.

He spoke about hearing.

He spoke about knowing yourself.

He spoke about loving God and loving one another.

He spoke about a Kingdom that could not be found on a map because "the Kingdom of God is within you."

Those teachings changed the direction of my life.

They also became one of the inspirations behind The Divine Algorithm, the framework I introduced in 2024 to explore the relationship between consciousness, the subconscious mind, neuroscience, spirituality, and our connection with God.

The Living Word

Many people hear the phrase "the Word of God" and immediately think of a book.

I understand why.

The Bible has profoundly shaped the lives of billions of people.

But when the Gospel of John says, "In the beginning was the Word," I believe it is pointing to something much greater than printed pages.

A living expression of God.

A divine intelligence.

A truth that can be experienced, not merely studied.

Jesus embodied that living Word.

He didn't simply teach truth.

He lived it.

That's a distinction I believe matters.

Truth becomes far more powerful when it moves from information into transformation.

Religion Can Preserve Truth—Or Replace It

Religion has done extraordinary good throughout history.

It has inspired compassion, built communities, preserved sacred writings, and introduced countless people to God.

I don't dismiss that.

But history also reminds us that institutions sometimes become more focused on protecting traditions than encouraging transformation.

Jesus challenged that tendency repeatedly.

He questioned religious leaders.

He confronted hypocrisy.

He reminded people that outward appearances mean very little if the heart remains unchanged.

His strongest words were often directed toward people who appeared religious while missing the deeper purpose of their faith.

That should cause every one of us—including me—to remain humble.

Faith isn't measured by appearances.

It's measured by transformation.

The Divine Algorithm Is About Living Truth

When I introduced The Divine Algorithm, my goal wasn't to create another belief system.

It was to encourage people to live differently.

To become aware of subconscious programming.

To recognize fear instead of being controlled by it.

To choose love over resentment.

To seek truth instead of defending assumptions.

To strengthen their relationship with God through experience rather than routine.

That's why I call it a framework.

Frameworks help us organize understanding.

They don't replace wisdom.

Living wisdom comes through practice.

Knowing Yourself

One of the sayings from the Gospel of Thomas that has influenced me deeply says,

"When you come to know yourselves... you will realize that you are the children of the living Father."

Jesus also taught,

"The Kingdom of God is within you."

Those two teachings point in the same direction.

Inward.

Not inward as an act of self-worship.

Inward as an act of honest self-awareness.

The greatest obstacle separating many people from God isn't distance.

It's distraction.

We're constantly looking outward.

The Divine Algorithm encourages us to become quiet enough to recognize what has been present all along.

Science and the Living Word

One of the reasons I continue studying neuroscience is because it reminds us that transformation is possible.

The brain changes.

Habits change.

Thought patterns change.

Emotional responses change.

People change.

That doesn't diminish the teachings of Jesus.

To me, it highlights them.

Jesus continually invited people to become new.

To renew the mind.

To leave old ways behind.

Science helps us understand some of the mechanisms.

Jesus revealed the purpose.

Together they paint a remarkable picture of what human transformation can become.

Beyond Following

One of my greatest hopes for The Divine Algorithm is that people never become dependent on it.

Or on me.

Every genuine teacher should ultimately point beyond themselves.

Jesus did.

Again and again He pointed people toward the Father.

Toward truth.

Toward love.

Toward transformation.

If my work does anything worthwhile, I hope it does the same.

I don't want readers to simply collect more ideas.

I want them to experience a deeper relationship with God.

To become more compassionate.

More aware.

More courageous.

More free.

Because that's where truth becomes alive.

Final Thoughts

The older I become, the less interested I am in winning religious arguments.

I'm far more interested in becoming the kind of person Jesus encouraged people to become.

Someone who loves deeply.

Forgives freely.

Lives honestly.

Seeks truth with humility.

And recognizes that the Kingdom of God has never been merely something to wait for.

It's something to awaken to.

That, for me, is where the teachings of Jesus and The Divine Algorithm meet.

Not in creating another religion.

But in inviting every one of us into a living relationship with God that transforms us from the inside out.
