Ask artificial intelligence complex questions.

Watch millions of videos.

Read countless opinions.

Research almost any spiritual tradition ever recorded.

At first, that sounds like an incredible advantage.

In many ways, it is.

But abundance creates a challenge previous generations rarely faced.

How do you know what to trust?

How do you recognize wisdom without becoming overwhelmed by endless voices competing for your attention?

I’ve come to believe that the greatest spiritual skill of the coming generation won’t simply be acquiring more knowledge.

It will be developing deeper discernment.

This understanding became one of the reasons I introduced The Divine Algorithm in 2024. It isn’t another voice asking you to stop thinking for yourself. It’s a framework designed to strengthen your ability to think clearly, live intentionally, and cultivate the inner wisdom needed to navigate a world overflowing with information but often starving for genuine understanding.

More Information Doesn’t Automatically Create More Wisdom

We’ve been taught that if we simply gather enough information, clarity will naturally follow.

Life doesn’t always work that way.

You can read hundreds of books on forgiveness without forgiving anyone.

Study health for decades while ignoring your own body.

Understand compassion intellectually while struggling to practice it.

Knowledge matters.

But knowledge and wisdom are not the same thing.

Knowledge tells you what is possible.

Wisdom teaches you what is worth living.

Every Voice Has a Perspective

One of the healthiest realizations I’ve had is that every teacher—including me—speaks from a particular perspective.

Every author.

Every scientist.

Every philosopher.

Every religious leader.

Every social media creator.

Every AI system.

Every institution.

None of us are completely free from assumptions, experiences, or limitations.

Recognizing that isn’t cynical.

It’s healthy.

It reminds us to stay curious instead of unquestioningly accepting every claim we encounter.

The Divine Algorithm Begins With Inner Responsibility

One of the central ideas behind the Divine Algorithm is that no one else can permanently outsource your discernment.

Books can help you.

Teachers can inspire you.

Science can expand your understanding.

Faith communities can support your growth.

Artificial intelligence can organize information.

But eventually every idea reaches the same destination.

Your own life.

You must decide what aligns with truth.

What produces compassion.

What strengthens integrity.

What encourages wisdom.

No one else can live that responsibility for you.

Discernment Grows Through Better Questions

I’ve found that wise people rarely ask,

“Who should I believe?”

Instead they ask,

“What evidence supports this?”

“What assumptions am I making?”

“What are the strongest arguments on both sides?”

“Does this produce greater love, humility, and responsibility?”

“Am I seeking truth—or simply confirmation of what I already believe?”

Better questions often matter more than immediate answers.

Questions keep us learning.

Beware of Certainty That Arrives Too Easily

One pattern I’ve noticed throughout history is that reality is often more complex than we first imagine.

Simple answers can feel comforting.

But comfort isn’t always the same as truth.

Healthy discernment allows room for mystery.

For learning.

For correction.

For growth.

Humility doesn’t weaken wisdom.

It protects it.

The people who continue growing are usually the people willing to admit there’s still more to understand.

Your Life Is the Final Test

One of the most practical questions I’ve learned to ask is:

What kind of person does this teaching help create?

Does it cultivate compassion?

Patience?

Integrity?

Courage?

Humility?

Responsibility?

Or does it consistently produce arrogance…

Fear…

Division…

Hatred…

Or dependence?

Ideas eventually reveal themselves through the lives they shape.

Character often tells the truth long before arguments do.

Protect Your Attention

Discernment becomes difficult when your mind never rests.

Constant scrolling.

Endless headlines.

Continuous opinions.

Notifications.

Arguments.

Algorithms competing for your attention.

The quieter your inner world becomes, the easier it is to think clearly.

Protect moments of silence.

Walk in nature.

Read slowly.

Reflect.

Pray.

Journal.

Attention is one of your greatest spiritual resources.

Spend it wisely.

Learn Broadly. Live Simply.

One of the beautiful things about our time is that we can learn from many traditions.

Science.

History.

Psychology.

Neuroscience.

Philosophy.

Ancient wisdom.

Different faiths.

Different cultures.

Remain open.

Remain curious.

But don’t confuse collecting ideas with living wisely.

Eventually every insight asks the same question:

How will this change the way you live today?

That’s where transformation begins.

The Future Will Reward Discernment

Artificial intelligence will continue advancing.

Information will continue multiplying.

Voices will continue competing for influence.

In that world, discernment becomes priceless.

The ability to remain calm.

To evaluate evidence.

To ask thoughtful questions.

To recognize manipulation.

To remain compassionate.

To think independently.

These qualities will become some of the greatest strengths a person can develop.

Not because they make us smarter.

Because they help us remain deeply human.

Final Thoughts

I don’t believe humanity’s greatest challenge is a lack of information.

I believe it’s learning how to navigate overwhelming amounts of information without losing ourselves.

The Divine Algorithm isn’t another system asking you to surrender your thinking.

It’s an invitation to strengthen it.

To become more aware.

More discerning.

More humble.

More courageous.

Learn from everyone.

Question honestly.

Remain teachable.

Stay grounded.

Because truth doesn’t fear examination.

And genuine wisdom isn’t measured by how much information you’ve collected.

It’s measured by the quality of the life that information helps you create.

In the end, the most reliable discernment isn’t built by following the loudest voice.

It’s built by becoming the kind of person who has learned to listen carefully, think deeply, love generously, and live with enough integrity that wisdom gradually becomes your natural way of seeing the world.
